Arizona 2017

By: Edward Arthur Dalton & The Dream Chasing Family

No long story here, just a thank you! This Arizona adventure concluded our first year of memories as The Dream Chasing Family, which we started a year ago now after our first adventure to Puerto Rico, after which we decided to start journaling our adventures.

Arizona is a magical place to visit, especially in the winter, because the temperature is perfect, leaving you with everything to love about the desert without the high summer temperatures! It was a much needed escape from the cold at home for Christmas and New Years and gave us a chance to relax, play, reflect on the past year and be with family we don't get to see as often as we would like.

While we would never pretend life is perfect, we do have so many blessings to be grateful for in 2017. It was an exciting first year! We appreciate all the support and opportunities that have unexpectedly come from it. Most importantly though, we are grateful for another year of good health and safety, secure employment, a place over our heads to call home, close family and amazing friends. And how could we forget our favorite pasttime- adventuring in the great outdoors?

Thank you all for taking interest in our version of this thing we all call life. It can sometimes be as brutal as it is beautiful, but at the end of the day, what are dreams for if they can’t be chased? We are looking forward to another year of dreaming and hopefully making a few come true!

How we did it.

Arizona is close enough to home we like to drive, but some of the family flew into Sky Harbor PHX. Once there, we scored a Jeep to get lost in the desert for a couple of days.
